OBITUARY
Hazel V. Everingham, 87, of Leicester, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the John F. Keever Solace Center.
Hazel was born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 13, 1926 to the late Lloyd and Hazel Indiana Pittman Moyer. Hazel lived in Buncombe County for the past 35 years. She was also preceded in death by her husband Carroll George Everingham who died July 24, 1992.
She is survived by three children: Virginia Ginny DeSanto of Anderson, SC, George Lloyd Everingham of Leicester, and Job Hamilton and his wife Donna Everingham of Leicester; by ten grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
Hazel was a member of the former Leicester United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the First Church of God, 20 Hanover Street, with Rev Dedric Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City, TN.

* George Lloyd Everingham, 71, of Leicester, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Charles George VA Medical Center.
Born May 29, 1951, in New York, George was a son of the late Carroll George Everingham and Hazel Moyer Everingham. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, who was proud of being in long term recovery. He was an avid car owner and enthusiast of his Camaro SS, and was a very talented carpenter.
Surviving are his sons, Shawn and Gregory Everingham; niece, Samantha DeSanto Cartwright (Nathan); sister, Virginia DeSanto; brother, Job Hamilton Everingham (Donna); nephews, Timmy McDaniel, Brian McDaniel and Kevin DeSanto; and great-nephews, BriBri McDaniel and Byrd Cartwright, who called him his "car uncle."
