1846 Algoma marriage record (page 531).. "Squire Davidson of Scott twp. & Jennet Furgeson of Uxbridge twp. married 17 June 1846 at Home Township, Algoma, Ontario. Witnesses; James Herd & Alice Turner." although the names are slightly off, I believe this is a transcription error or phonetic spelling.. I've seen the actual marriage register and it's written just as shown above, but I believe it is them.

1851 CENSUS Uxbridge, Onatario County, Canada West (Page 75, line 20).. "Squire Davidson 28,.. Jannett Davidson 28, b.Scotland,.. William Davidson 6, b.CAN West,.. Biographical info found online;
Squire Davis is also officially documented as Walker Mohawk (Lower Mohawk of the Wolf clan). And in Ottawa's records, Oneida of the Turtle clan.

Squire Davis may be the son of the late Peter Davis/David (or perhaps Chief William Karaghkontye "David Davids") and Margaret Riley "O'Reilly"). Margaret Riley is of unknown lineage. In Squire's boyhood the Mohawk Davis family operates a cleared farm of twenty acres on an Oxbow of the Tinaatoua. The farm is at Cayuga Heights near the lock at Cainsville, between present-day Brantford and Hamilton. The area is known as Bow Park Farm.
