involving Enoch in
Muncy, Lycoming, PA
fact sources and writings about this individual:

Occupation of Enoch: "Shoemaker".
Information from 1850 Lycoming Co. PA Census.
Enoch Also appeared in the 1830 & 1840 Lycoming PA Census.

2Info from "Douglas R. Everingham" of Wichita, KS, July 2000 -Brown Library in Williamsport Pa. Lycoming Co. Enoch Everingham was from New Jersey, not New York.
He must have had a daughter Elizabeth who wasn't listed in the 1850 Census records as she died mid year of 1849.

Civil War Service Records from Pennsylvania State Archives; Enoch Everingham, Co.K, 43rd Infantry-Militia enrolled 6-30-63 at Muncy, PA, Mustered in 7-1-63 as Sgt. at Reading, PA, Mustered out 8-13-63. Age at enrollment: 58, remarks; reduced from Sgt. to Pvt. 7-6-63. info found by Tom Phillips 2004
Also we can pretty much eliminate the possibility that Enoch was born anywhere but in NJ. In the 1880 census his sons list him as having been born in NJ, not NY.
