1905 Schedule C, overseas deaths, County of Welland, Ontario.. "#028956 Alice Louise Everingham, female, born in Crowland, died Nov 13, 1905, 5 days old, cause of death smothered in sleep, registered by H. Everingham on Nov 13, 1905." This cause of death was a bit unsettling so I included a link to the written cause of death from the registration, in case my transcription could be wrong. Even though the word (Smothered) gives an impression of intent, I expect that this was an accidental death, in her sleep, as I have found no other news articles about it.
