1883 Dolphis Barbary "alias" Grandmaison was 32 years old, born in Magdalene, Quebec, resided in Sandwich West, Onatrio, married Emily Ducharme, age 35, resided in Sandwich, dau of Fanny Ducharme. witness: Victor Oulette and Joseph Desrosiers, both of Sandwich. Married by Rev. Charles Faure.
2Note: it seems that at about this generation, the Grandmason's may have used the name of Barbary. Which name was real and which was an alias is not known for sure. A nickname or alias was used by many French settlers.

Nancy Grandmason died Dec. 9, 1923 at age 68 of Chroms Ingesttus (spelling???) Information about her birth was not available. This was Adolph's second wife.
6Adolph age 90 died July 18, 1929 of Apoplexy and he was a widower. Exact date of birth unknown. Born in Canada. Buried in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Onaway, MI. E. K. Shirtum Undertaker. Adolph's father was Mose and was from France.
