2011 (obituary) Gladys Martha Everingham (Reese) passed away on September 8, 2011 at St. Alphonsus Hospital. She was 89 years of age.
Gladys was born July 11, 1922 in Boise, Idaho to Martha S. and George M. Reese. She was one of six children and was the last surviving member of those children. Her siblings, George Jr., Clyde, Robert, Ruth and Phyllis preceded her in death.
She lived in Boise, Idaho and married John B. Everingham in 1947. She and her husband had two children John Merrill and Robert Arthur Everingham. She and her husband and children moved from Boise, Idaho to Istanbul, Turkey in 1962 and subsequently to Cleveland, Ohio and Millbrae, California. Gladys moved back to Boise, Idaho in 1995 after her husband passed on May 15, 1993. She lived at Willow Park Assisted Living for the last four years of her life. Gladys loved life and enjoyed her family and friends. She did volunteer work at local hospitals in California, and enjoyed her garden and creating wonderful holiday meals for her family. She was kind, gentle and caring, had a great sense of humor and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons John M. Everingham (61) of Boise, Idaho and Robert A. Everingham (58) of San Fransciso, California and nieces and nephew, Kathleen M. Everyingham of New York City, New York, Caryn B. Everingham of Seattle, Washington, and John B. Everingham of Boise, Idaho.
