fact sources and writings about this individual:
Research of Kevin Everingham, January 2017;
1860 Census (shown right) is a little hard to read the children's names.

1848 Burlington County, NJ Birth Record (V.D1-D2).. "Abby Ann Everham, female, b.3 June 1848 at Springfield township, Burlington, NJ,.. fathers name; John Everham, mothers name; Sarah Ann."

Ocean County was split from Monmouth County in 1850, prior to this, it was simply part of Monmouth County, New Jersey). This page is based on the 1860 census and Abby's birth record.

1860 U.S. CENUS Jackson Township, Ocean Co., New Jersey, June 1860 (Page 24, family #161).. "John Evernham 35, farmer,.. Sarah A. 31 or 51?,.. Amy 17,.. James 14,.. Abba 12,.. William 11,.. David (Davis?) 10,.. John 9."

Other John Evernhams
1865 (Circumstantial Only - Is is very possible that this is a different John) NJ Death Record (V.AD, P.590).. "John Everham, died 16 October 1865 at Almshouse, Mannington, Salem County, New Jersey, male, age 40. (born abt 1825) born in Salem, New Jersey. also of note; the Almshouse was a county insane asylum & poorhouse constructed in 1845. In a search of Evernham/Everhams, I found no gravesites there. This John Everham (at the almshouse) could be a different John Everham who married Sarah McClain on Christmas day 1850 Salem, NJ. Wife has the same name but is almost surely a different couple due to the age of the children of John in the 1860 census.

It's also important to note that all informationa available about John Evingham b.1825 who lived in Amity, Allegany, NY was yet another John, not the one on this page.

This family seems to have vanished after 1860... I can't find any of them.
