By this union there were five children, viz: Milicent B., Flora M., Sibil V. and John L. One child died in infancy. For his second wife he married Emma E. Perkins, June 25, 1884. She was the daughter of Volney Perkins and born in Mendota Township. "

1933 The Earlville Leader, April 20, 1933.. "The following obit appeared in the Pomona, Cal. paper of last Friday: Mrs. Emma Eugenia Everham, resident of Pomona for 22 years, passed away at 10:30 o'clock last night at Laurel avenue, following an illness. Born near Meriden, Ill, Feb 15, 1857, Mrs. Everham came to California 30 years ago from Earlville, Ill. Surviving are her husband, Manley Everham; three daughters, Mrs. Millicent B. Hanchett, Downers Grove, Mrs. Flora Bonestell, Hanford; Mrs. Sibly V. Farrar, Los Angeles; a son John L Everham, Earlville, and a sister, Mrs. Grace Scoggin, Mena, Ark."

1937 The Earlville Leader, Earlville, IL... "Manley Everham, 88, died suddenly May 1, 1937, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lora Bonestelle, in Hanford, Calif. Mr. Everham was born on the farm occupied by his son John Everham and with the exception of a few years spent in Wheaton, made Earlville his home until 1904 when he moved to California. "
