(Cedarville) "The congregation of the Methodist Church was greatly shocked on Sunday morning to learn of the death of the sexton of the church, John Everingham, which occurred on Sunday, at seven o'clock. Mr. Everingham has been in failing health all winter, suffering from asthma and an affection of the lungs. While hardly able to be about he faithfully performed his duties at the church until Friday, when he was unable to prepare for the weekly prayer services. Mrs. Everingham and a child in the household are both quite ill, and on Saturday Mr. Everingham was taken to the home of his aunt, Mrs. Lewis Brandriff, where he died on Sunday morning. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved family."
