¹1923 The Notice of divorce in the Ottawa Journal, Saturday, Dec 8, 1923, page 4 lists; William Albert Everingham, divorce from Dorothy McGruther Everingham, Toronto. Previous researchers notes listed her name as Dorothy PIEBRAM? Further research shows PIEBRAM was a maiden name, She may have been married prior to marriage to William. See 1908 record above.

1925 Divorce Precedent Toronto Star, May 29, 1925.. "A senate committee has recommended that William Albert Everingham of Toronto be granted a divorce from his wife Dorothy McGruther Everingham. The bill now goes to the House of Commons for ratification. The case promises to establish a precedent in Canadian divorce law."
