GENERAL AFFIDAVIT FOR ALL PURPOSES. State of Iowa County of Chickasaw
Well known to me to be reputable and entitled to credit, and who, being duly sworn declares in relation to aforesaid case, as follows: "That he has been acquainted with said Everingham for 26 years - That his farm and Everingham's farm are only one and one half miles apart - and he has been acquainted with him as neighbors in a new county are; knowing his affairs and state of his health from personal observation, that said claimants liability has increased that he is no longer able to perform any hand manual labor - That claimaint is a farmer and can perform no professional or skilled labor of any kind, that he has no trade or profession, that he has always been a farmer, that for a number of years last - past claimaint has been steadily declining in physical health - that from first of January last - until late in the spring affiaint was confined to the house totally disabled, unable to leave the house, requiring the care bestowed upon invalids, part of the time bedridden, He is now unable to perform any labor requiring a common degree of physical strength - A couple of hours of light labor aggrevates him so that he is abliged to be home and kept, any attempts at labor aggravates his disability - and the only way he can obtain rest is by lying down, he can not rest in a setting posture, Walking injures him and riding also increases his suffering - The pain of any jarring of a vehicle or conveyance, injures him, - He's complained of paralyzed feeling of back and legs upon experiencing any _____? - the jar of riding or walking, has to pick his way carefully in walking to avoid any jarring sensation - It is difficult for him to ____ _____ ____ ____? And he further declares that he has no interest in said case, and is not concerned in it's prosecution
