Charles L. Everingham, 90, of Buffalo Street, died Friday (Oct. 1, 1993) in Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw.

A lifelong Castile resident, he worked for the Castile Town Highway Department for 38 years and was highway superintendent for 14 years. He was a Castile Village trustee from 1947 to 1954 and served as town assessor from 1973 to 1981. He was a member of Castile United Church of Christ and the Castile Historical Society. His wife, Erma, died in 1985.

Survivors include a son, Neil of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Thelma Wagner of Buffalo and June Pattridge of Largo, Fla., and a grandson.{bprice}
