Mrs. Ethel Mary Grandmason, 68 of 1159 W. Larch Ave, a practical nurse, died Friday at the home of a son, Hugh Grandmason, after two years of illness. The former Ethel Mary Everingham, she was born Aug 26, 1893 at Cheboygan. She had lived in Muskegon about 10 years, and prior to that, in Howell and Ocqueoc. She was employed about 15 years as a practical nurse in the Muskegon County Medical Care Facility and the Tuberculosis Sanatorium at Howell.

She was married at Onaway in October 1914 to Joseph Grandmason who died 20 years ago.

surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Leonard Wright of Millersburg, Mrs. Bert Hawkins of Boyne City, Miss Geraldine Grandmason of Muskegon, and Mrs Harry Ackley of Lansing; the one son Hugh, Muskegon; a sister Mrs. Cecil Curtindale of Saginaw; one foster sister, Mrs. Lyle Everingham of Adrian, and 10 grandchildren.

Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
