Edward "Jack" Everingham, 70, Robinson, died at 4 a.m. today at Crawford Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1914, in Crawford County, a son of Benjamin and Anna Gertrude Everingham.

He married Betty York, who survives him. Other survivors include three brothers, Harvey and Charles of Robinson, and Benny of Illinois; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Shook, Robinson; one stepson, Roy Lee Strayer, LaLuz, NM, and Mrs. Klad (Linda) Zimmerle, LaLuz, NM; and five grandchildren.

He was a member of Highland Avenue Southern Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II, and a member of Ernest M. Coulter, American Legion Post No. 69, Robinson.

Funeral services for Edward "Jack" Everingham who died Saturday, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson with Rev. Carl Hall officiating. Burial will be at the Hardinville Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening.
