Norma Jean Everingham, 74, 14344 N. 950th St., Robinson, died about 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL., following a period of declining health. Born Dec. 20, 1928, in Robinson, she was the daughter of Harry Brackett, and Lillian (Peterman) Brackett. She was self-employed as a painter and wallpaperer. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Christian Church, Robinson. On Dec. 24, 1949, she married Harvey D. Everingham, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law, Harry D. and Peggy Everingham, Robinson, and William J. Everingham, and fiancee Amanda Rockwell, Anderson, IN; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Lynn, and Harry W. Smith, West York, and Cheryl and Randy Savory, Kingman, AZ; a brother and sister-in-law, James "Bud" and Helen Brackett, Robinson; eight grandchildren; six great-granchildren; a step-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; a grandaughter, Michelle Dunshie; and a brother, Bobbie Dean Brackett.

The funeral is at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 16, at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, with Johnie Adkins officiating. Burial is in the New Hutsonville Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, and until service time Sunday. Memorials may be made out to the Carle Foundation Hospital Guest House, Urbana, IL, with the envelopes available at the funeral home.
