SHERIDAN - Edith A. Prentler, 75 of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2009 in North Fort Myers, Florida.

She was born May 17, 1933, in Onaway, the daughter of Raymond and Leora M. (Morgan) Everingham.

She married Robert Lunger in 1998. Edith was a resident of Florida the past year and was formerly of Onaway and Massachusetts.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Lunger; her son and his wife, Joseph B. and Tammy Prentler of Fenwick; three stepdaughters; grandchildren, Joey Prentler, Dakota Prentler Tammy Hudson, Misty and Clark Davis; three great-grandchildren; brother Marvin and Tarry Everingham of Sheridan; three sisters, Neva and Jerry Springsteen of Fenwick, Ruth Hodges of mason, Clara Everingham of Carson City; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Joseph Prentler on October 24, 1995; older brother, Eugene Everingham; and older sister, Inez Bowers.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan, with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment will be next to her first husband, Joseph, at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Battle Creek.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
