EDGEWOOD, Ky. — Elizabeth “Betty” Everingham, 80, formerly of Wakarusa, died Thursday at 5:29 p.m. at St. Elizabeth South.

She married Claude Everingham, Sept. 2, 1978. He died Jan. 22, 2007.

Surviving are her sons, Dennis Deaton, Covington, Ky., and Clay (Kathleen) Deaton Jr., Jackson, Tenn.; daughters, Barbara Burch, Pierceton, Ind., Nancy Deaton, New Port, Ky., Debbie (Carl) Finken, Pierceton, Ind., Dora Mitchell, Covington, Ky., and Darlene Graham, Pierceton, Ind.; stepsons, Steve (Linda) Everingham, Rolling Prairie, Ind., Doug (Kathy) Everingham, Wichita, Kan., Ron (Pam) Everingham, Goshen, Ind., Phil (Mary) Everingham, Wakarusa, Ind., Richard (Kim) Everingham, Goshen, Ind., and Greg (Carola) Everingham, Sheldon, Ill.; and stepdaughter, Linda (Patrick) Harrington, Elkhart, Ind.

The body will lie in state Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa, Ind.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Nappanee Missionary Church, Nappanee, Ind.

Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee, Ind.
