fact sources and writings about this individual: (From Roger Harris, 2005)

(1) Death Certificate Haldimand County #14327/71, Dunnville Village Aljordan Everingham, d.14 Nov 1871, male, 26 yrs, Sailor of Dunnville, Dr. Hopkins, Jr. M.D.of Dunnville, also the informant and the info registered on 13th jan 1872 by John Hood. The cause of death is illegible and Religion is unknown.

(2) As Aljordan was 26 at death, he was obviously b. abt 1845. This is too early to obtain a birth certificate as the registration did not commence until 1869.

(3) There is proof that he married in Buffalo on the 6th of July 1869, but I do not have a copy. This info came from Betty Casey, Rapid City. Same information noted by Richard Dilts.

(4) 1871 Census Moulton & Sherbrooke Twsp, Monck Co., Census District A1, Page 10, Lines 16 - 18, Everingham, All J., 25, b.Ont, Meth C., Irish, Farmer, Married to Everingham, Rebecca, 24, Ont, Meth C. French. Neither can read or write. Everingham, Sarah, 1, Ont. Meth C. Irish. This birth was not recorded and I went forward 16 years and began to search for a marriage but found no listing in the Ont Vital Stats. This census was taken as of March 1, 1871 and Aljordan died the following November.

(5) To back up a bit, he was recorded on the 1861 Census with his Aunt Catherine (Everingham) Tweed in Moulton Twsp as a labourer, age 16.

(6) Haldimand County Marriage Certificate #3818/74. Marcus Green, 42, Res. of Dunnville, b. Wainfleet, widow; d/o Philip {sic} and Charlotte Taber/Farr, by Rev Harry Hughes by Banns at the Episcopal Methodist Church (both members there) Witnesses: Richard Mitchell and Lucinda Anger, both of Dunnville.

(7) Haldimand County Death Certificate #14522/14. Rebecca Green d.Oct 28, 1914 at Dunnville, Ont., female, 69 yrs, retired lady, widowed, b. Welland county; cause: cystitic for 4 months, Hemiplagia for 4 days, Dr. Thrush; Informant = Mrs. Parrish on Oct 28th 1914. Father = Tabor/Farr, Mother = Charlotte Cook.

(8) A listing of the Mount Caramel Cemetery was found from "The Ontario Register" and listed on Genealogy.com. It records: Everingham, Rebecca Farr - 1843 - 1914 There are also 6 other Farrs buried here among them is Pelick Tabor, Farr d.27 Jan 1886 age 77 yrs, 1 m, 15 dys; Charlotte wf P.T. Farr, d. Jan 3, 1894 age 82 yrs. We do know again from Betty Casey who has done the Farr family Tree that Rebecca's father was Pelick Tabor/Farr, not Philip Farr and mother was Charlotte Cook.
