1888 Buffalo Evening News, New York Paper, Monday, October 15, 1888 (legal section)
Rush P. Rockwood of Olean and Miss Estella Evingham, Belmont. Rev. John Burrows officiating. In the latter case the bride was shortly after arrested on a warrant sworn out by her father charging that she was not of marriagable age, and demanded her return to his guardianship by process of law. Friday Mr. Evingham withdrew the suit and paid all the costs and the bride went with her husband.

1888 Buffalo Evening News, New York Paper, Tuesday, October 16, 1888 (social section)
Estella Evingham, a young damsel of Belmont, ran away from home last week and came here to the arms of her lover, Rush Rockwood, late of Titusville. They were married before the girl's father could prevent, but he made it lively when he appeared. He had the girl arrested, but finally relented, paid the costs and went home, minus time, money and the girl, and a sadder and wiser man. The pair are as happy as clams.

1893 attempted suicide of Estelle.
1893 follow-up story Frendship NY Weekly Register.. "Mrs. Rush Rockwood, whose attempted suicide was reported on Saturday, will probably recover, contrary to the predictions of the attending physicians. Her father Cyrus Evingham, came up from Belmont Saturday afternoon and Sunday took his unhappy daughter home with him.- Oleans Times. Mrs. Rockwood has been in Friendship recently. At Olean last Saturday at the Option House, she swallowed a number of morphine pills with suicidal intent. She is rather a handsome woman about 20 years old, of erratic tendencies, such as lead to moral wreck."

1905 STATE CENSUS Belmont Vil, Amity, Allegany, NY ... Cyrus Evingham, boarder age 58, day laborer... living with Daniel W. & Jennie Crandall.

1906 DeJaVu! Estella's daughter Lu Wiona, AKA "Wiona" shows up in the news under circumstances in 1906 similar to her mother and aunt. (notice name misspellings/possibly on purpose to avoid stigma) Bradford Era News, Jan 1, 1906.. "Fifteen year old bride has lost her home.. Mrs. Thomas Kenney, a bride but three weeks, and not over 15 years of age, applied to the police headquarters last night for lodging. She claimed that she had been turned away from the home of her mother, Mrs. Stella Eggleston, likewise from the home of her father, Rush P. Rockwood. Viona, as she is called, was married at Limestone by Justice Vibbard three weeks ago today. Her husband is Thomas Kenney, a railroad man, who, it is alleged suspected that the girl-wife had become a trifler. When the woman was seen in the juvenile department of police headquarters last night, she was quite disconsolate. She is a fair looking lass. It was learned that the young wife in company with another woman had spent a couple of days in Salamanca. When she returned the husband refused to have anything to do with her."

1911 Marriage Record ... Edgar James Hyde 46, s/o Jerome Hyde & Nancy Evenham, (1st marriage) married 7 October 1911 Chautauqua, NY.... & ... Jennie Estelle Anderson 38, b.PA, (2nd marriage, widowed) d/o Cyrus Evingham & Emma Wiley. I have seen the orignial of this record. It is recorded just as listed above, but it makes me wonder if possibly they mixed up her last name and Edgar's mother's name. I can't find any record of Estelle marrying anyone named Anderson.
