1918 Saint Paris News Dispatch, Aug 1, 1918.. "Lightning Friday afternoon struck the barn of Harry Everingham in the Lookout neighborhood and completely destroyed the same. Four hogs lost their lives, and 12 tons of hay were consumed by the flames."

1933 The St.Paris News Dispatch, Sept 28, 1933 .. "(Lookout social section) Harry Everingham and family were at Floyd Clark's Tuesday evening when a surprise was given to Mrs. Clark in honor of her fortieth birthday... Harry Everingham and wife and daughter, Allegra, were Sunday guests of John Underwood and family at Westville. .. Mrs. King, who was a resident of this neighborhood several years ago, visited Harry Everingham and family Thursday."

1937 The St. Paris News Dispatch, Nov 4, 1937.. "(Lookout) Harry Everingham and family entertained during the past week, Mr. and Mrs. John Underwood and son, of Westville, Mrs. Achah Clark and daughter, and Freeman Everingham."

1944 Piqua Daily Call, March 6, 1944... "W.H. Everingham, 83, retired farmer and native of Lena, died Saturday night at the home of daughter, Mrs. John Underwood, route 4, Urbana. His home was near Careysville. Survivers besides the daughter, Mrs. Underwood are two other daughters, Mrs. Floyd Clark and Mrs. Virgil calland, both of route 2, Urbana; and three sons, Chester and Freeman, route 2, DeGraff and Maylen, route 1, St. Paris."
