  • 1849 Landowners MAP, Burlington Co. NJ. (hard to read)
    Information from Ken Everham, 2006:
The file William C and Susan Gibbs are from Northampton Marriage Records - I'd have to find the name of the professional genealogist who sent that one. The lady however has a library full of Burlington County records that most people would only dream of owning. She's probably pretty old by now and I would hope that one day it find it's way to the Geneaology Room at the Burlington County Library.
Census 1860 Burlington County is straight from census records
William C Everham Headstone picture is straight from the Evergreen cemetary.
The epitaph I found while perusing some microfilm about Lumberton cemetaries and other cemetaries of Burlington County. I had tried crayon rubbings but could not quite make out the words. That was from the IGI database of microfilm.

some research of Kevin Everingham, 2011:

1857 Birth Registration source film#493706,... William Everham b.13 Jan 1857 at Medford twp. Burlington, NJ, parents: Wm. & Susan Everham ......
1855 also born at the same location to a William Everham on 15 July 1855 was Josephine Everham (most likely the sister of William listed above.) After reading William's biography, it is likely that Josephine died young. (if this was their child)
1859 Birth Registration, Northampton township, Burlington County, NJ... "Lydia H. Everham, female, b.23 or 25th (hard to read), November 1859 at Northampton, Burlington NJ, daughte of, Wm. & Susan Everham." it appears she was born as Lydia but known her whole life as Lillian or Lillie.

    1860 CENSUS Northampton, North of N.Branch of Rancocas River, Burlington, NJ... family 116, Page 17,..."William Everham 28, b.NJ,.. Susan Everham 23, b.NJ,.. William Everham 3, b.NJ,.. Lilly Everham 0, b.NJ,.. Joseph Hughes 21, b.NJ,.. Mary Hughes 24, b.PA."

1862 U.S. Civil War and pension index (T289 film 3650153).. "William C. Everham, pension; 27 May 1862, unit; 23rd Infantry Company I., rank; Private."
1863 U.S. Civil War and pension index (actual card reading) appication #22796 "William C. Everham, widow; Susan Everham, under that written; Susan Alcott, adm... service; Co.I, 23 NJ Inf."

1863 EVERGREEN CEMETERY, Lumberton, Burlington, New Jersey... Corp. William Everham, d.26 Jan 1863.

1866 Newspaper notice -- Married at Vincentown, December 10th, 1865, Rev. J. Thorn, Mr. John H.Alcott to Mrs. Susan C. Everham, both of Mount Holly. --- Also in marriage index: John H. Alcott & Susan Everham m.10 Dec 1865 Southampton twp., Burlington, NJ.

    1870 CENSUS Burlington, New Jersey - "John H. Alcott 26, b.NJ,.. Susan C. Alcott 31, b.NJ,.. Georgeanna Alcott 3, b.NJ,.. Isreal H. Alcott 2, b.NJ,.. Lillie Everham 9, b.NJ."
by the 1880 Census, the Everingham children were all out on their own, no longer living with the Alcotts. In 1870 William, age 13 was living with the Josiah Allen family in Burlington. No idea why or if there is any connection to family.
