  • fact sources and writings about this individual:
    Research of Kevin Everingham, 2011;

    1849 Burlington County NJ Marriage records.. "I William E. Boulton one of the Justices of the Peace of the county of Burlington do hereby certify that I did solemnize a marriage according to law between the following persons at the date following; 1849, Sept. 1,.. John Everham & Elizabeth Budden."

    1850 Mansfield, Burlington, NJ (Aug 29th, 1850) ---"Family #369, John Everham 40, b.NJ,.. Elizabeth 24, b.NJ,.. Matilda 6m, b.NJ,.. Artis 69 b.NJ." The following BUDDEN families were present in Burlington, NJ in 1850;

  • Pemberton twp, Burlington, NJ - "Joshua Budden 32, Ann 31, Charles 5."
  • Burlington, Burlington, NJ - "Anderson Buddon 41, Mary 36, Julia 9, Mary Elizabeth 1, Elizabeth Haines 61."
    These could be brothers or cousins of Elizabeth especially the one in Burlington city who appears to have a mother living with them named "Elizabeth." That could also be a coincidence. There appears to be several other families with closely spelled names also; Budding, Button. In 1840 there was William, John & James Budden in Burlington, NJ.

    In 1860 a John Everham was living in Salem City, Salem Co. New Jersey, age 51, born in Burlington, NJ.... also; Sarah Everham 36 b.Cape May Co. NJ,... Catherine 6, b. Salem Co, NJ..... HOWEVER... .this could be John Everham who married Sarah McCLAIN 25 Dec 1850 in Salem, NJ. (possibly another John Everham).

    no abosolute proof but a possible cousin or nephew based on locations;

  • Charles (b.~1837 NJ)

    From the CENSUS data, I believe it is likely that John's mother was "ARTIS" living with them in 1850... she was living with David Everham in 1860, also in Burlington, NJ... John & David are close in age and I think may be brothers.
