Revolutionary Era NOTES
1(from research of Kevin Everingham) A probable related Lawrence MARR served in John Cougle's Co. of the 1st Battalion of NJ Volunteers, commanded by Lt. Col. Joseph Barton as noted on a muster roll, on Staten Island, September 11, 1780. This was a different company, but same Battalion that Adoram & Henry DELL, and James Everingham served in.
Jacob LEMON and his father-in-law Lawrence MARR, along with Joseph & David MARR signed an oath of allegiance to the King of England, January 11, 1778 before Benjamin Depue, Esq.
I believe Joseph & David were Mary's brothers.
