1881 The History of Champaign County, Ohio, W.H. Beers & co. 1881 (921pgs)... "(section on Johnson Township).. J.M.Abbott, retired blacksmith, Millerstown.... He engaged as farm labor until 1866 when he commenced blacksmithing with Jeremiah Bair of St.Paris. Two years later, Feb 5, married Angeline Evernham and by this union, three daughters have been born - Lizzie, Anna and Emma A. Mrs. Abbott was born in Johnson Township, May 19, 1848, and is a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Evernham."
