    21830 Census index 30-40, Onondaga, NY
    3various Onondaga County, NY CENSUS readings.
    4Kim Everingham says DOB is 1835, 1880 Onondaga Census shows DOB is 1838, 1860 Onondaga census shows DOB is 1839

    5CAUTION; This family line has been the source of much confusion over many years. To the best of my ability, I have listed this family as descendent links show above based on the data above and my own research (like anyone, I am certainly capable of mistakes)... Kevin Everingham, 2003.

    6 Jeremiah Everingham, b.1821 lived around the sons of Samuel Everingham in Fayetteville & Manlius, Onondaga County, New York. It is circumstantial evidence but he fits well with this family and chose to live around them. Jeremiah's wife was older than him and her daughter from a previous marriage married Walter Everingham (b.1821) Thus, Walter's mother-in-law was Jeremiah's wife. Samuel died in 1844 and Jeremiah died in 1845... Federal Census didn't list members of each household until 1850.

    Research of Kevin Everingham of MI, 2002-2010

    1830 CENSUS Manlius, Onondaga, New York (Page 383) .. Samuel Everingham., his father John is listed in Lafayette, Onondaga, NY the same year.

    1840 CENSUS Manlius, Onondaga, New York (Page 155) .. Samuel Evingham.

    1844 Hortontown Cemetery Records, Lysander, New York ... Samuel Everingham died Sept 13, 1844, age 48-10-18. I believe this family becomes hard to track because Samuel died in 1844 and the family was splintered up, living between other relatives because Sally couldn't support and raise everyone on her own.

    This is a tricky reading... I believe that Sarah's son George, his wife Mary and their son Orville Theodore, are all living with mother Sarah here;
    1850 CENSUS Manlius, Onondaga, NY (#592) ... Sarah Bradley 47,.. William Evingham 25, teamster,.. Geo Evingham 23, miller,.. Mary A. Evingham 25,.. Hannah Evingham 21,.. Angelina Evingham 19,.. Smith Evingham 17, boatman,.. John Evingham 12,.. Chet Evingham 10,..Orville T. Evingham 2. three homes away (#595) from Walter & Saloma Evingham. I can not explain why Sarah's name was BRADLEY in 1850 then back to EVRINGHAM in 1855 & 1860! (maybe this was her maiden name?)

    1855 STATE CENSUS Manlius, Onondaga, NY (Page 405, family #287).. Sally Everingham 52, lived in this town 23 yrs,.. Charles Everingham 15, not married, son,.. Louisa Everingham 20, married, daughter-in-law,.. George Everingham 0, grandson,.. James Everingham 21, son, married, occ: Boatman. as usual this Census is a little confusing but it appears that Charles was living with his mother and his brother James' family was living with her as well.

    1860 CENSUS Manlius, Onondaga, NY (Page 80, family #567) ... John Evringham 21, b.NY, day laborer,... Sarah Evringham 57, b.NY,... Charles Evringham 18, b.NY, day laborer. although Charles' age seems off, this does appear to be John & Charles living with their mother... (family #568 -living in the same household as family #567) James Evringham 26, b.NY, day laborer,.. Louisa Everingham 24, b.NY,.. George Evringham 5, b.NY,.. Eunice Evringham 2, b.NY,.. infant Evringham 8/12, female, b.NY. because of this census, I am inclined to believe that James is a son of Samuel since it appears that he was living with the widow of Samuel and two sons of Samuel. Two homes away was another brother - (family #570) George Evringham 38, b.NY, occ: miller,.. Mary A. 35, b.NY,.. Theodore 12, b.NY,.. Anna L. 9, b.NY,.. William 6, b.NY,.. Alice 4, b.NY,.. Hilan 1, b.NY.
